  • Foreign matter source control - product sales received from raw materials
    Feb 21, 2019

    The appearance of foreign objects in the product will lead to consumer complaints and even harm to consumers. In more extreme cases, a large number of products are recalled from the market. Foreign bodies should attract the attention of food people. Today we will simply understand the contents of foreign bodies!

    What is a foreign body?

        For foods, processing requirements or substances that should not be included according to product standards can be called foreign bodies. That is, foreign matter refers to all other substances in the composition or composition of the final product, except for the target product itself that we want to obtain during the process design, including but not limited to metal, glass, stone, hair, plastic, etc.

    Foreign object classification

    Foreign bodies can be divided into two categories: endogenous and exogenous. Fruit products can be divided into two categories: fruit-derived and non-fruit-derived.

    Fruit raw materials, excipients themselves, but the products required to be removed, called fruit-derived foreign bodies, such as nuclear, peel, husk, seeds, roots and branches.

    A substance that is not part of the fruit and raw materials but is mixed into the product, called exogenous foreign matter, such as foreign objects such as metal, screws, glass, hair, weeds, flying insects, chemicals, and paper. , plastic, etc.

    The raw materials and excipients themselves are contained, but the substances that the products require to be removed are called endogenous foreign substances, such as eggshells, fishbone, braised pork and so on.

    Source of foreign matter and foreign matter

    1

    Raw material acceptance

    Because the raw materials are poorly accepted and brought into the foreign matter, such as the raw materials themselves contain some impurities, or the cleaning of the foreign materials or foreign matter caused by the cleaning is not clean.

    2

    Raw material storage

    When the raw materials are stored, there are no specifications to operate according to the requirements or relevant protective measures, such as unsealed storage or storage of pests.

    Production and processing

    a) Damage to the processing equipment: the processing equipment and equipment are damaged or dropped to cause foreign matter to enter; the irregular equipment maintenance work, leaving the foreign objects in the production site. Such as plastic box, film damage; bulb, tube rupture caused by the incorporation of glass; welding repairer with welding beans, welding slag, etc. caused by the mixing of metal sheets.

    b) Bringing in the processing personnel: As a labor-intensive enterprise, poor personnel management may cause serious foreign matter to enter.

    Such as:

    B1: The sanitary condition of the person entering the workshop is poor (the body has hair, nail cracking or attachment of nail gap, finger injury, peeling, attachment, etc.);

    B2,: enter the shop personnel to carry items into (wearing gloves; put jewelry and other items that are intentionally or unintentionally brought into the workshop; thread and wool of work clothes);

    B3: The operator has unhygienic behavior habits (diet in the workshop, smoking, etc.; intentional or unintentional abuse of chemicals, cosmetics, etc.; naked products are directly picked up after the floor is dropped to continue production operations, etc.).

    c) foreign matter in the processing environment is poor: such as flies, mosquitoes and other insects mixed in; wall cement blocks fall off; foreign materials in the packaging materials; sanitary cleaning is not thorough, hair brush hair loss and cleaning tools are damaged; Uncleanness can cause the incorporation of foreign matter and affect the quality of the product.

    d) Improper production and processing methods lead to the incorporation of foreign matter: due to some defects in the process design, foreign matter cannot be picked out or easily mixed with foreign matter
